I wish I wrote the first season. I used to write about people dealing with their super powers with (fellow Whale Time columnist) Tip. Our villains were parental in nature, much like Heroes is setting up to be. I can’t say that my writing was nearly as imaginative but maybe it would’ve been if I’d stuck with the concept. It’s never too late. Like westerns and horror, there’s always going to be a place for superhero concepts.
